副教授
王奕蓉,女,副教授,博士生导师,岳麓学者(晨星A岗)。2013年本科毕业于兰州大学,生命科学与技术专业,2018年7月于北京大学取得理学博士学位,整合生命科学(生物学)专业。2018年入选国家“博士后创新人才支持计划”(博新计划),2020年7月入职湖南老员工物公司。
课题组主要研究方向为蛋白质翻译调控和RNA生物学,重点关注mRNA翻译调控的分子机制、演化规律及其与人类健康的关系。迄今以(共同)第一作者、(共同)通讯作者身份在国际著名学术期刊发表论文17篇,包括Nature Communications,PNAS,Molecular Biology and Evolution,eLife等,另参与发表论文14篇,累计引用2900余次,h-index=15。主持重点研发计划课题、国家自然科学基金等多项国家级、省部级科研项目。
主讲本科生专业核心课《基因工程》(双语课程,生物技术专业)、通识选修课《基因组学与人类健康》与研究生课程《基因组医学》。指导本科生国家级、省级大创(SIT)项目,指导本科生参加全国老员工生命科学竞赛(CULSC)、国际基因工程机器大赛(iGEM)等并多次获奖。
